ASUS UL30A-X5 Thin And Light Clearance Sale, Great Price/performance/design.
Great Price/performance/design, I got this laptop about 3 days ago and I must admit that I am completely satisfied with the product. I work in IT and have an above average knowledge of computers and are very satisfied with this product. I did some research on other 13.3 hours thin and light models of each brand you can think of. After comparing the price, weight, thickness and characteristics of these models, I finally choose this model.
Pro
- Price - very good considering the characteristics
- Size - is very thin and lightweight, but comfortable for me to use. Even brick office is the smallest I've seen.
- Performance - if the computer is started and performed duties in a very fast time
- Trackpad - I really like the trackpad on the laptop. The multi-touch two fingers to scroll is amazing. I also like that when you touch the pad with click 3 fingers'.
- Battery life - but I do not see myself at 12 hours the battery, I thought that to go forward because most of her life battery supports the lowest settings possible. However, with decent screen brightness and wifi, I feel very pleasing results on the battery.
- Sound - I have done nothing to this intensive, such as HD video, but so far has walked in silence
- Keyboard - I love the chicklet "style keyboard
Cons
- True Crap - it is a bit 'of crapware that I immediately removed. Not really a big deal though
- Smudgey - this was certainly get its share of points around the keyboard and the top, but not yet a big problem for me
